Presentation: Deep Learning for Medical Image Analysis
Deep Learning has witnessed a tremendous increase during the last decade which has been driven on one side by the large amounts of data that have become available and on the other side by the advancements in hardware, and specifically in general purpose GPUs, which allow us to train deep learning models very efficiently on large amounts of data.
The presentation details how at Siemens we leverage AI across the entire data continuum, that means from the data acquisition and generation stage, through the data processing and interpretation stage, the data mapping and fusion stage, finally reaching a patient-centric level, where we allow the clinician to take a more informed decision regarding the diagnosis and treatment planning.
