Lavinia is a Scrum Master with over 6 years of IT experience.

Over the years she has worked with both cross-functional and component teams, had direct interaction with customers in the role of Defect Manager and worked for several years in the role of Android Developer.

Now she focuses her energy on making a positive impact in the community: she is involved in the NGO MigrantBrasov, mentor for a group of future Scrum Masters and trainer at the Informal IT School.

She is passionate about community, volunteering, public speaking, jazz, yoga, playing the piano and has just joined the CrossFit community. She is someone who will always say “yes” to a new challenge and will talk to you passionately about the myriad of projects she has in the works.

She wants to put enthusiasm into everything she does and lead by example!

Workshop: Introduction to Agile &  Scrum 

The goal of the workshop 

The goal of this workshop is to understand the basics of what Agile and Scrum and to plant a few seeds regarding Agile Mindset in our day-to-day life.

What will we do in this workshop? 

The workshop will be highly interactive, so be prepared to play, talk, and be surprised. We will understand together how we can split project types into categories and apply best processes for each of them. We will sketch what Agile Mindset it, why it was invented and how we can absorb it in our lived. Then we will focus on the Scrum Framework, talking about basics concepts: scope, vision, roles, events, artefacts etc

You are in the target of the audience if you:  

  • Want to start following a carrer as Scrum Master
  • Want to understand the basic concepts of Agile and Scrum
  • Are starting to work in an Agile environment and would like to understand it better
  • Anyone interested in discussing Agile and Scrum

What tools do you need installed on your computer before the workshop starts 

 No special tools are needed, just a notebook and a pen.
