The major part of his career as expert as well as manager he devoted to risk management.

Building upon his strong background in mathematics and statistics he learned a lot about the estimation and validation of risk parameters (Basel II/III/IV and IFRS9) and their regulatory communication.

When he took over, 4 years ago, the team ‘Group Advanced Analytics’ at Raiffeisen Bank International AG his focus shifted towards data science and machine learning. Since then together with his team they have been successfully implementing machine learning applications across all business areas.
