Casian is a young, active and optimistic IT guy. His favorite IT topics include automation testing and security. He has more than 8 years experience in this field and likes to share what he knows. With this is mind he finds many opportunities (at his job and in the community) to give presentations, workshops and offer consultancy on these topics. Casian is part of AgileHub team since the beginning of 2018 and has many ideas we would like to implement in the near future.

Roxana is an young and enthusiast software tester, her favorite IT topics include manual and automated testing.
She joined Agilehub because she enjoys sharing her knowledge to others as much as she enjoys learning something new from every interaction with involved parties in the community.

Workshop: What does a tester do in an agile team?

The goal of the workshop?

Giving the knowledge and point out the skills needed to be able to fit properly testing in an Agile Team.

What will we do in this workshop

We will define, together and understand what a tester does in an agile context.

Next, we are going to identify the skills and mind set an agile tester should reach and we will finish with a simulation implying testing, scrum concepts and LEGOs that will help us put in practice what we have defined.

You are in the target of the audience if you:

• You are a tester and what to learn more about testing and Agile and the how they mix.
• You are a SCRUM Master or Product Owner and want to learn about Testing
• Anyone interested in Testing/Agile

What will you learn at the end:

At the end of the workshop, you will have a deeper understanding of testing levels and the role of the tester in Agile teams.
