The goal of the workshop
The goal of the workshop is to walk through common vulnerabilities and exploits of web applications using an ASP.NET Core web site.
What will we do in this workshop
We will explore a naively developed web site (from a security standpoint) and we will walk through vulnerabilities and exploits and then we will fix them one by one.
You are in the target of the audience if you:
- Have familiarity with C# or Java and Web Development
- Are interested in learning more about web security basics
What will you learn at the end:
At the end of the workshop, you will have a deeper understanding on what security risks are to be avoided in a web application and how to fix them if they are present.
What tools do you need installed on your computer before the workshop starts
The actual exploration can be followed without a laptop.
